Well, here is my first blog on nails.
I am NOT a nail technician. I have been doing my own acrylic nails for about five years now. For the longest time I only used clear acrylic and sealed cute stars and other confetti shapes within the acrylic, only recently have I started to experiment with glitter tips, unique designs, micro beads, and 3D nail art!
Products used: Purchased from Sally Beauty Supply. ASP ( ASPIRE All season professional ) Bonding Acrylic Powder Pink, Bonding Acrylic Liquid, Nail files, and Acidless Primer.
Glitter purchased from anywhere, mixed 1/4tsp equal parts.
Martha Stewart: Micro beads, purchased from Michaels Arts and Crafts store.
I found this video on Youtube, while I liked the idea I did not entirely care for how the design was executed. I decided to try my own hand at this incredibly time consuming nail design.

It seems to me these are the micro beads used in the original tutorial video. So. I bought them from Michaels Arts and Crafts store. 12.32 with Tax. Nice deal.
The filed, shaped, and smoothed end result for my thumb!
Polished
Finished my pointer finger. Hadn't removed the old acrylic on my other fingers yet.
Removed, prepped and ready to go!
All done!
Pinky isn't perfect, but this design turned out beautiful. I ended up doing extra lines of micro beads. I love it, turns your fingers into little Christmas presents!
